They look good, but its stil T5 with a couple of leds thrown in! although I do like the dimmable option but again can only benefit if you also purchase the computer, and the price tag

Lighting has to be moving towards LEDs, for a host of reasons, glad Arcadia are getting on board, even if this is a halfway house.
This isn't Arcadia, it's Easy Life :$.

I saw a massive tank at FoF with 10 banks of LEDs, the light was so clear and even (when Tom M noticed) projected a very clear shadow on the substrate of a discus. It does look much better but understand for plant use it's not the best?
Don't see why not mate... People have been using LED's for years to grow all sorts of herbs 8)
Yeah but these units are basically T5 luminaires with a couple of LEDs thrown in! not really much on the LED side!
They do look cool though
