So I'm in the planning (wife still needs convincing) stage of my next tank.
My head is telling me to go with a more common 600mm set up, but my heart is saying 800mm.
Is there a half decent light out there that's 800mm? The light would need to be dimmable and preferably app/timer controlled.
The best I can come up with is either 2 fluval aquasky 2, 21w ea and total cost £180. I have a 33w now on a 4ft tank and colour rendition isn't brilliant and being so close to tank would require 2 to get enough even coverage for a 400mm wide tank
Chichiros 801a, not sure if its dimmable and or controllable and odd write up I've read suggest its colour is also a bit naf. Price ~ £80.
So thoughts on any lights please.
