Light pollution

I love open top tanks
But
I hate the light pollution you get from them

Anyone got any ideas how to customers it out ?

The light closer to the water surface or a shade around the light?

Ever played snooker in a darkened venue? The lighting shrouds deliberately limit light to the baize. Should work just the same for us?
