Hi,

We have a cube tank and a tyipical row of leds across the middle of the tank, but it means the outer edges of the tank can be quiet dark though often suited to lower light plants, but smaller ground cover plants do not seem that happy.

Often wondered it if would be better to use more leds but spread more evenly across the tank , eg 2 or 3 rows, which would probably give better growth across the whole tank ?

Think the larger pendant bulbs or led lamps would give a more even spread but in our current situation they are not an option.

Its a 40cm cube and yes it could take more than one led strip spaced quiet wide apart and used via a dimmable circuit.

yes, I have a 90p which is 90x45x45, I find 2 rows of WRGB2 are necessary for full coverage as I have tall stem plants that could otherwise shade the shorter plants.
