Lilaeopsis 'Novea-Zealandiae'

Many thanks Tim, i will leave it alone in that case, hence the question before I messed it up ;)

I will get the scissors out when the new ones start popping up!

I’ve grown L brasiliensis and L mauritiana from Tropica,
I prefer the 1-2-grow version of L brasiliensis as no need to trim the emerse leafs
Potted version, I usually trim some portions at planting, others I wait for new shoots before cutting back emerse leafs (which seem to remain green long after Eleocharis emerse leafs have vanished - or been trimmed as they turn brownish)

In Mark Evans journals, he mentioned trimming back the emerse leafs when planting
(they seem to slowly collect algae)

Filipe Oliveira uses Lilaeopsis quite often

Many thanks, I have left the leaves for now, they are ugly as hell lol I will see after a week what they look like, some had melted away and others and staying firm, Day 5 no algae yet!
