Liquid Carbon

Hi guys,

Has anybody bought or had experience dosing their tanks with liquid carbon as i'm thinking about getting some.

There are loads and loads of people using it, it is very effective.
just one I think of when I think of just easycarbo is this fantastic tank ( honestly there are absolutely loads, it very widely used)

cheerz, i purchased some from aquariumplantfooduk and also purchased some of their own brand fert.

I'm just wondering if nitrate remover and carbon media have an effect on these products.

I know for example carbon media removes treatments

Without a shadow of doubt you don't want to be using nitrate remover or active carbon in a planted tank. It is designed to remove all things your plants need.

Hi,

I took out the nitrate remover yesterday but forgot about the carbon

If im honest i doubt its doing its job anyway as its been in there for around 8 months

I'll whip it out tomorrow

Yep you could say it's not doing it's job by now It might even be leaching some nasties back into the water get it out
