Because 11 tanks just isn't enough (if you include the jars, shrimp tanks and fry tanks lol) I'm considering a slightly larger tank than my current ones as I have the perfect spot for a Superfish Scaper 60 (50x35x35cm). I usually design my tanks around the inhabitants but this time, I really have zero clue what fish to go for so I can't do anything until I've settled on that. As it'll be in my bedroom, I'd like peaceful and calm fish, but also something with interesting behaviour and that I can see relatively easily. I don't really want something that rushes around like danios but also, not something that sits in one spot for hours as that spot is invariably hidden! I mostly have labyrinth fish at the moment and they can be pretty elusive (I rarely see the Sparkling Gourami other than feeding time). Water parameters can be anything as my tap is very hard but I also already run softwater tanks. The only definite (almost) is that it would be a dirted, low tech set up and heavily planted, not iwagumi or anything minimalistic!
Anything spring to mind that might fit the bill?
