Low-tech but Hi-light

Love the big rocks. My only worry is buying them and not knowing where to put them. I have three decent sized driftwoods to use too.

Might post a piccie or even do a journal :)
 
Someone else has just told me that I am going to have way to much light in the tank.

So, here are my options and some questions:

1. Use reflectors but in reverse. If so, how should I angle them?
2. Disconnect a single bulb as per previous diagram (thanks again). If I do this, which should I disconnect? Should I then use a deflector to try and ensure the whole tank still gets direct light or will this pump up the wpg again?
