Isolation is getting to me so I dug out my 10l nano and my hardscape box and had a play. Any of them grab you?

I’m thinking the front will actually be a sand and gravel beach once I decide what to go for...

3 looks good, could perhaps remove the bottom left rock though and bring the rest more central?

Is it worth choosing now? Have you chosen your hardscape design yet?

I'm still taking votes, #3 seems to be in the lead but it's not too late. #3 also won in my family WhatsApp chat.

Definitively 3 :) But then i would try to get rid of that straight diagonal line coming down. And try to get a more textured less straight transition.

Thanks. Let me see what I can do this weekend (I put all the rocks back in the box). I'm planning to have a sandy beach at the front transitioning via some matching pebbles, BTW.

Plating will be simple stuff - some kind mixed lawn above the beach and Helianthum and low maintenance stems (Bacopa, Rotola, etc) at the back. I won't do CO2 and will just keep shrimp.

Any advice on how much light I need on this - it's a 20x20x25 Dennerle Nano. I've a 1.5 watt LED light I found in a drawer but that's maybe too low light.

Here you go guys, how about this?

It's too central in my opinion! It is however a superb use of the minimal space available, and i like it the more I look at it

Thanks, Looking again this morning I think you’re right. I can maybe shift the main rock’s top end to the right so it runs more diagonal, but not sure if that will improve? A triangle is super hard in a 20 by 20 tank!
