Messy Plec's, any tidy feeding tips out there?

Hi.
Is there a way to feed plecs algae wafer without wafer going everywhere and getting imbeded in the substrate? I have an aqua soil substrate so it gets beteen the plants and the 5mm balls and dust.

Have you tried the stick on glass ones. you can place it high up on the glass, that way anything that falls away can be eaten by other inhabitants.
