So this mineral clay is meant to improve molting, provide essential minerals and provide a stable pH. Problem is that it seems to be buffing my RO water to around a pH of 7.2). I'm a little confused as everything I've read points to Caridina cantonensis preferring a pH of 6-6.9 but this "wonder" mineral gives a positive pH.
I also understand that molting problems are usually caused by calcium and magnesium at higher levels causing the shells to harden, hence why keeping TDS. below 180 is important. So if I keep the TDS in the 120 mark and the pH is around 7.2 will that cause an issue? Should I just stop using Mironekuton all together so the pH drops back to the normal 6.8?
