Just the look of the two really, they tend to be pretty similar. I have found that true bogwood can lower the hardness (certainly the KH hardness) which is something to be aware of. But other than that dont think there is really much to choose. I guess the solid colouration of bogwood is nice if the wood is to be a feature, but thats personal choice.
