    Tropica Taxiphyllum sp. Spiky

Taxiphyllum sp, also known as "Spiky moss", is a new moss to the hobby but it looks set to become popular due to its bright green foliage and ease of maintenance. It belong to the same genus as Taiwan moss but has distinctively larger and longer fronds.

It is quite an easy moss to keep and can tolerate slightly higher temperature. It grows very fast in cool water and CO2 supplementation will further speed up the growth of this moss, although it can still be grown without the mentioned conditions.

It can be easily attached with fishing line to wood or stone and placed anywhere in an aquarium. It is most suitable as a backdrop due to its very bushy appearance
