Hi all
Nice one Darrel that’s it
I've had a few different native mosses, the problem is that although they look distinct when they are growing terrestrially, they all tend to look pretty similar (like <"Stringy Moss">) when they are growing underwater.

If you have <"a microscope"> you can look at the "leaves" (microphylls), and that gives you a bit more idea.

cheers Darrel

id you take the photomicrograph?
No unfortunately i can't. (Yet, working on it.). But we have a very good illustrated "National Database for Flora and Fauna" NDFF. :) (National, only in Dutch/Flamish and what can be found in that area)

But:
https://www.verspreidingsatlas.nl/mossen
Select alphabetical above and sp. name listed at the LH side, Latin is default. All you need is the name, pictures speak for themselfs. :) If it grows enough on our piece of this hemisphere it is very well documented.
