Back in August I threw some moss cuttings into a water feature in my garden (may have been xmas or willow). The water was soon green with algae so I thought no more about it. On going out into the garden today I've noticed this:

Can anybody ID this or is it just some kind of garden moss that has grown?

If it is from your tank, a quick rinse and I bet it's heading back for the tank. It looks great.

Looks like willow moss. Leaf structure looks identical. Nice one!

I think you're right Nath, just compared it with some in my shrimp tank.

I'm surprised it has survived in the cold.

I have enough of it already in my tank if its willow :) I suppose if it went back in a tank you'd have to step the temperature up with it?

I suppose it looks Nice where it is.:) it's like a grow moss where ever it falls challenge.:D
