I have not tried them all but quite a few. In my personal experience, i like Fissidens the most to grow aquatic to wood.
Fissidens if given the proper guidance it is a well mannered, relative maintenance-free, slow-growing but beautiful moss that requires time and patience. Others I've tried grew rather wild and need a lot more maintenance (trimming) to keep in check. And trimming/manicuring moss can be a pain.
