Mosses in low light no CO2 or carbon suppliment tank

Hiu Guys,

I've been sent some cherry shrimp today and am wanting to stick some moss in with them. The tank wont have CO2, nor will it have high light.

Will moss grow well in these conditions?

Hi,

I have some Xmas moss in a Juwel Rekord 800 using the standard 2xT8 with not added Co2 or ferts and it grows fine. I've added some Java moss recently and it's still green, but hasn't really started growing yep. But its not been in there long enough to start getting worried.

So, yes there should be no problem with moss in low light/tech tanks.
