I had this crayfish for about 3 years until the tank where it was burst and I had to take it back to the store as I couldn't get another tank quick enough and surely could not place it in my planted tank ;) was sorry to see it go :arghh:

Wow, he almost looks plastic! Lovely specimen :) Was he hard to care for or easy? What sort of things would he eat? I assume he'd munch on fish if given a chance?

Was an amazing creature, very easy to care for, just have to becarefull to keep the lid on the tank always close, forgot once and then found it wondering around the house lol
I would feed it some vegetables, it liked peas quite a lot, also catfish pellets, proper crab/crayfish pellets, and I had lots of guppy/endlers breeding in that tank so I would often find it eating one or two ;) It kept the population under control.

That's some crazy blue colouring on him! Never been very inclined to keep crayfish, but he certainly is a fine specimen.

He looks like a fine specimen! How big was he when he was re-homed?

Ahh, that would make you a good luxury lobster dinner

Nice creature. I was always liking crayfish in the childhood. We had plenty in the river in Moldova where i was born.
