My busy tank!

I seem to have all sorts going on in & around my lounge tank at the moment!
Baby fish in a breeding cage, emersed plants growing alongside pot plants there is a ficus tree & even a half dead orchid that was given to me today!
It is all due to be rescaped & sorted in the new year though....

What's the fern to the left of the tank mate??? Is that pot planted or emmersed??

No idea mate! I have four different ferns all growing emersed, I have a hydroponics system running around two sides of the tank.
It is a 4'' square of glass filled will buoyant baked clay & fed by water from the main tank via a air line, so there is a permanent flow of water running through the clay & overflows back to the main tank. I just bought the ferns from a garden center for 80p a pot about a year ago & I have to trim them all the time...

Quality job, the fern looks like it might be Nephrolepis exaltata.

I think it is definitely a Nephrolepis, looking at the "frilly leaf" it might be N. cordifolia, which has runners and "tubers" and is a real good grower.
