Ok so this is my planted tank, ive added more as ive gone on been in the fish and shrimp keeping for about 6mnths now. Have had a few hiccups since i started mainly with pests in the shrimp tank though. But i dont think looks too bad for a newbie. What does everyone else think? Any improvements that could be made?

First two are my tank now, last pic is about 2/3 months old.

Looks like you have some very healthy plants there - well done :) Was there something in particular you were thinking about changing? A lot is down to preference. I would personally go for a less busy background so your fish stood out more, but if you like it then that's the important thing.

I made it a little more busy in the background as i have various types of fish amd have some amano shrimps too. And some are a little more shy than others so thought would be perfect place to hide for them. I tried to vary colours with plants that werent overly demanding as i dont have the money to pay for expensive co2 equipment. But i was wondering if there is anything else i could do to make the tank more fish friendly? Or will these plants be enough? X
