nano external filters

Hi All,besides the eden 501 what other nano external filters do people recommend? regards john.

Hydor's filters come in at the same £ as the eden and by all accounts are very good, if you have more money or don't fancy trying something relatively untested there's always the fluval 105 and eheim 2211 and 2213. Just about any filter with a 300lph bench mark will be adequate for most applications. My cube is 5 gallons and I would say 5-6 gallons start considering 600-700lph filters such as the tetratecs and larger fluvals.

I have a 105 on Little Mountain - 11l, and it rocks, not a single bad thing to say about it once you replace the hoses and attachments.

I've got an eheim classic 2211 and pro 2222, both are ideal for nanos, rated 300lph and 600lpg respectively.

What size tank is it for?

EDIT - I've also got the ex600 which is also 600lph and its a great little filter and ultra quite. Cheaper than an eheim too!
