Hi all. Please have a look at my scape. The plan is for a jungle nano scape with epiphyte plants and mosses. Back of the tank will have white backing applied. Behind the rock structures will have soil and some emerged growth of plants yet to be decided. The open space in the front will have some la plata sand and smaller pieces of rock for detail. Tank is optiwhite 31x23x21cm
Thanks for looking
Paul

Yes I built the rock structures myself. I bought a large quantity of black lava stone and broke it up. That fact that it doesn’t have a uniform stratum or striations make it really easy to use as one less thing to consider from a cosmetic stand point.

I joined it using cigarette filters and superglue. This has proved very successful, fixing the joins very firmly.

Roots are a mixture of red moor root and oak root from a wind fallen tree. I washed them and boiled them for a long period to try and make sure anything unwanted was removed. I made a table top mock up of three sides of the tank to help with scaling within the tanks available space.

Subbed 👍🏻

Looking good @PMC - I need to looks out for some Oak roots, they look good!!
Thank you. I'm just scaping at the moment as need to do some work to the cabinet it's stood on in preparation for a larger reef tank to sit next to it. As soon as I've made some progress with planting etc I'll start a journal for it with more info.

Nice - what light is that over the nano?

EDIT: Scratch that, I’ve just seen the Fluval badge on the second image.

Yes it’s a Fluval Plant Nano. I’ve been really impressed with this little light over previous scapes.
