Native moss

Hello people,

I've just seen and collected some moss from some guttering, it looks just like
fissidens!
Could I get that spreading on some decor like the usual java/Xmas moss?
I'm thinking probably not, as the differing temps and it not being true aquatic.
But I was thinking if after a transitional period it might.

Any thoughts?

i got some moss out of my garden a while back and put it in a tank. it looked like java when i found it so left it floating and it grew very quick

Really?! I'd love to see pictres sam, I think it could well be an untapped resource!

i have no pictures of it in a tank but its still there on a rock in the garden ill get a pic tomorrow

Hi all,
Almost certainly is a species of Fissidens, probably F. taxifolius. It's a common moss on bare clay on flower borders etc.
