Hi
I noticed this morning that some of the leaves on my Rotala H'ra and Pogostemon are almost melting away. I doubt that its nutrient related as I dose an all-in-one at a level over the recommended for about 1 month now. I was spot dosing some algae with Excel yesterday. Is it possible that I used a bit too much of that to is it damage from the shrimp perhaps? I don't really feed them too often so they can focus the bits of algae here and there.

Hi
Its most likely the Excel.Unlike Anubias and Buces that take spot dosing quite well some plants with more gentle leaves can definitely get burned.
Regards Konstantin

I agree that it's probably the Excel, but I would also point out that there are lots of fertilisers that claim to be all-in-one, but are lacking in essential nutrients, usually nitrate and/or phosphate. You might like to check the small print for that.
