Need some help !

Hey guys, Week into my first aquascape, Who said it wasn’t stressful!! , so facing my first issue. The leaves of my rotala orange juice are looking rather worse for wear.
I’m running a ‘hi tech’ system with inline CO2 and EA ferts and I’ve been conducting daily water changes, but to no avail... (I’m also using tap water ). The tank size is an EA 600, with a bio master 350.

In the second picture I’m assuming this bit of rotala is pretty much dead and would be better off removed ? Or is this just melt and will grow back eventually ?

any help would be massively appreciated! Thank you !

Hey Jason,

Those rounded leaves is Rotala in it's emersed form. It's not unusual for them for melt away as the plant transitions to it's immersed form. You can trim away the dead leaves or just allow them to fall off naturally.

As this is a new set up with no livestock for a while, you can ramp up the co2 even to yellow as your doing daily wcs. With stems once they get to a nice height you can trim them 25-50% and replant.
