new aquascape a little advice maybe?

25x 25x 25cm cube it all went wrong with my last aquascape due to algae problems
so im going to start again with a diffrent type of aquascape i had an iwugumi aquascape before but im just going to go for something simle/normal this time im thinking

dwarf hair grass for a carpetting plant

with a peice of red moor wood in the middle

Rotala sp. ‘Green’ at the back of wood and either side

would like a colourfull plant in there aswell can anyone recomend one for a nano tank?

How about Echinodorus 'Red Diamond' (A small red leaved sword) or a small crypt to provide a real contrast of leaf types? Otherwise a small Anubias could work well on the wood - you could even get some of the Gold form of A.nana which would provide the splash of colour.
