New tank- how many fish / shrimp

Hi guys just wanted to get some advice about how many fish and shrimps to buy for this 45p tank.
The tank has only been running 6 days so I will wait until around 3 weeks before adding live stock, depending on what water parameters are in a few weeks time.

I am wanting to add Algae eaters and chilli rasborosa when the tank in ready but how many of each would you guys go with? I don’t want to overload the tank and cause algae.

Them Daisy rice fish look nice too.
Has anyone had any experience with them ?
Looks like colours come nice when in good conditions .
 
15-17 chilli rasbora, 3-4 amano shrimp is how I’d stock it. The rice fish like it a little cooler so I wouldn’t recommend in a community.

The foot print is more than enough IMO. Chillis are tiny fish and not the most active, Should be perfectly fine in 45x30cm foot print. As for the bioload, planted tanks IMO should have very little issues with “overstocking” since plants uptake all fixed forms of nitrogen at rapid rates, especially in co2 injected Aquaria.

Don’t want to start a debate that hijacks the OPs thread, but as it’s a forum where people come for advice daily.

I don’t think a footprint matters when it comes to low volume of water. IMO 34L (which now scaped is probably 25L) of water isn’t suitable for anything other than shrimp.

I’ve never understood why as hobbyist we try to limit the animals in our care and are constantly looking to push the minimum requirements on fish. You never hear of anyone saying I’d like to stock a group of x fish in 500L.
It’s always how many of this can I cram into this.
The reality is, if you want a small tank, then be prepared to only stock shrimp.

As above. I don’t want to start a debate and I realise this hobby isn’t one size fits all.
Just intended as some food for thought, and a different perspective.

(I know Dean, from Deans fish room has kept Angels in a tank that size).
 
I’m more about the plants to be honest and will be happy with a few very small fish and a few shrimp.
