newbie to external reactor Q

I've just fitted up my new external reactor and have another coming monday for my other tank

i noticed the one i fitted has a bleed valve, how do i use this?

The bleed valve is used to bleed any trapped air out of the reactor after first setting up or mainteance.

I am assuming the bleed valve is at the top of the reactor.
