Hello fellow plant lovers.

At substrate level I have a PAR of roughly 57 using my fluval 2.0 and I'll be dosing liquid carbon, yes I know it has its haters but I like to run an air stone in my tanks, would you say this is classed as medium or low tech.

Many thanks

Paul

Hi
Carbon supplement makes it high tech tank as availability of carbon increases the demmand for the rest if the nutrients..
Not all high tech tanks are supposed to be blasted with high light.

I'll echo Konsa on the fact adding carbon in any form (gas or liquid) makes a high tech/demand tank. However, since light is the driving factor you can control the speed of the tank that way and keep it just ticking over.

I dose easy-carbo infrequently as and when I feel the need. That is alongside heavy gas injection.
