Newly planted tank problems

Hi all,
On Saturday, I planted out a brand new Ciano 58 litre tank with various small plants, carpet plants and similar, I have a good substrate, black sand and some small gravel. I added rocks and two pieces of aquarium wood to look like trees.
after 24 hours the tank went very cloudy, it has now cleared but on the wood and rocks there is a white slime/fungus type of algae I haven’t encountered before. Reading on line, most say this is natural, leave it alone and it will go, a very few say take out the wood and rocks and treat them. What should I do?
I can show photos if anyone wants.
I would be grateful for your comments.
Thank you
Karl

Hi @KarloNo1
I would say it's perfectly normal for new tank. Just add some beneficial bacteria and make sure you have plenty of oxygen for them. Just give it a time, maybe week or two and will be fine :)
