Rotala wallichii no tech
Hi Added this rotala wallichii 1 2 grow to my black water tank the other week as I saw something online mentioning that rotala wallichii wasn’t a difficult plant at all and could be grown low tech as long as it had soft water. I thought I’d gamble and give it a go. I was expecting the plant to...

If you have soft water, Rotala Wallichii and the related Rotala "Cambodia", "Vietnam", "Enie" can grow in low tech.
Otherwise, 2hr aquarist has a list of easy red plants:
Easiest red plants in the hobby (red, not yellow)
Generally, many red species require CO2, more specialized lighting and regular fertilization to truly show off their colors. However, there are a few species that will grow well even with no CO2 injection. Read on to find out which red plants can grow with or with no injected CO2.

Ludwigia palustris “super red”.
I actually find this plant somewhat fussy. I use full RO water set to 1kh and around 4gh and found it temperamental. I have repens and glandulosa growing out of tank, just for context.

I find it to be a relatively easy plant as well. However, because it grows as a dense clump, there is a risk that the lower leaves don't get enough light and start to deteriorate. I have 6gH/3-4kH water.
