Evening all, i managed to get down to Eds place today to collect the plants for the 60 rescape.

Once again its a bit of a jumble sale of plants, just a few i wanted to try growing again and a few that i havent see before.
The main plant is Utricularia Graminifolia  A plant that seem to be avoided a lot due to its tendency to melt. Fingers crossed....

Specs are pretty much the same;
NA 60
2x 36w NA light
crystalprofi e900
in tank diffuser
no heater
ADA amazonia
Mini landscape rock

Plant list: all in-vitro pots
Utricularia Graminifolia
Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis
Pogo Helferi
Ammania Bonsai
Weeping Moss
2 bucephalandra- need to check variety
Rotala Yao Yai
Rotala Nanjenshan
nesea pedicellata
Rotala pearl
Ludwigia mesacana

I have no idea what most of the stems will look like, they will likely be to big and not suit but thats idea with this tank... trying things out.

Hardscape is nothing grown breaking and in all honesty rushed a bit. I should have taken it all out again and jet washed it to get the grey back after barb island but didnt get round to it.

cheers guys, will be interesting to see what comes of the stems.

another beauty to behold mate. thought youd have had this one up by now ha
i thought so to mate, work is still off the hook!

Is this brand new Amazonia?
hey ian, it had the last scape in too, had heard it may not like new. Im nailing it with co2 at the moment so hopefully itll take...

Apparently it really doesn't like ammonia in the soil. If it does die off, just get some more in a few weeks. I love the stuff!

Just messing around with photoshop express on a camera pic.
What I stare at from the couch given the chance.

Nesaea Pedicellata ;)
Very nice hardscape and sexy hairy hand!
Thanks for the correction mate, lids were hard to read :p
I haven't really done a lot of rock work before, it's been good fun trying different layouts.

Thanks for the comments guys, I hope it will deliver.

Day 3
Gave all the rocks a clean today followed by 100% water change. ammania have shot off as has rotala nanjenshan, the other stems are looking a little slow to settle but sure they will. LOoking through google it seems that while the stems are going to beautiful they will likely be a bit large leaved to suit this tank but will grow them on anyway. Certainly the rotala pearl is a acquired taste but will still be interesting to see what happens.

UG seems happy enough for now, going a little pale but not worried yet. As usual the weeping moss is looking sad but think this is normal for the first few days and then will start putting out new growth.

Pogo helferi seems fairly static and not showing any signs of life yet but very early days.

I took some pictures yesterday so will post up later along with day 3 pics. Invitro plants are always pleasing, great to see changes daily.

Happy Sunday all.
