No products on website?

    Anyone else finding that there don't seem to be any products available for purchase on Hinterfelds website at the moment? There goes my Xmas pressie idea!...

    Its been like that for weeks don't know if they've closed down or not. :)

    Yes. They have closed down whilst looking for new premises.....!

    Even contacted them through here...no reply:(:thumbdown:
    As a Global Mod...you think they would...reply.:rolleyes::lol:
    Strangely enough it was when they where offering a discount clearance!

    Yeah, Posted about this some months ago in their section of the board and got no response. You would have thought they would be keeping people updated on what's happening though.

    All their stuff is from China, like pretty much everything these days. We trade with them with import tax on WTO rules. I've looked round my house and just can't find anything made in China, Chinese goods are just so difficult to get hold of in the UK :rolleyes: :D

    I don’t think we trade with China under WTO rules. As membership of the EU we trade with China with tariffs lower than WTO rules.

    Yes I know I’m spreading project fear again.......!

    You might as well, everyone else is. :D

    AFAIK China joined WTO in 2001 not sure what the situation is now. Last I heard The EU was looking to reform the relationship to make it more EU friendly regarding standards and copyright. I think trading with China is quite an open situation usually down to the discretion of the buyer on whether you declare it or if customs spot it.

    Good customer service is everything and if theres a problem(moving premises?)just need to inform customers and potential customers,but not replying thats poor
