I have just purchased one of these plants and wondered if any forum members have experience growing this plant?

All advice much appreciated.

Not heard of the red, but I grow the green.

This is the 1st time ive used it, and not many people I speak to have ever seen it, so info is sparse.

Mine is in ADA Malaya, KH3 GH3, Co2, full hit. Its huge at around 60cm tall, with each leaf being the size of an A5 pad of paper.
Stunning plant, but for the larger aquarium. It grows from a rhizome, in a similar way to Anubias, so slow and in one direction, until it branches off.

Hope that helps.

Cheers.

Thanks for the information, it sound a little large for my 4ft tank :(

The rhizome is around 50mm wide at the base and 70mm tall and it has deep red leaves, a couple of image links follow:

I was hoping that the plant would not get to big!
