Just redone my tank and water is cloudy, so thinking of giving purigen a go. Looks like very small particles suspended in the water.

It’ll get clogged really quickly in the prefilter. Instead pop it in the 2nd from last tray (the one under the orange final sponge).

If the problem is suspended particles, then Purigen is not the right choice as this filter media is designed for removing dissolved organic waste. Looks like you've already had a few alternative suggestions.
