Old Co2 FE

Hello UKAPS people,

I just wanted to know what do you do with your empty Co2 fire extinguishers?

I don't have any company that will refill them where I live and I am sure it doesn't go with household thrash.

How do I get rid of the empty canisters?

Scrap yard once I had a lot.They want the top off though.Then they pay you for the brass and aluminium.

Not much money though.

Quite a few council tips will take gas bottles. They have an expert there who will determine if the bottle is empty and put it in the scrap after taking the valve off.
