hi all

i have the facilities and materials in work to make reflectors
has anyone ever got technical about angles and distance from lamps etc etc
i wnat to build a luminaire and this is an opportunity to get it right on the reflectors

i plan to use mirror perspex and feel its clearer and sharper
than any of the aluminium ones ive seen

i plan to use compact t5 pll type flourescents and a couple of t8's
(i am going to gut my current two azoo luminaires and make a nicer single one)

i will also wire the two ballasts seperately for a burst
or a lower light option if wanted in the future

regards

Dont think anyone's really looked at it in great detail, there are a lot of factors when it comes to reflecting the light into the tank. I would think so long as the reflector goes half way around the tube you'd get pretty good 'reflecting'. Any reflector is going to be better than no reflector!
