Osmocote Tablets

I was looking at giving my ageing substrate a wee boost until i have extra money for a new substrate, So was looking at putting some root tabs in there and come across Osmocote Tablets that were quite cheap, I have read of people putting the powdered version under the substrate, So would it be ok to use the tablet form just like a root tab?

yep would be OK to use.
You can pour some into an ice cube tray, then fill with water as usual, and freeze.
Easier to get the ice cubes under the substrate than the individual pellets
