This afternoon I noticed this on the youngest of my Pearl Gouramis:
This was definitely not there yesterday so all I can think of is a fight with the dominante male. It look like an injury but not sure. In fact this gourami I bought when he was very young and could hardly tell if it was a male or female. It was a replacement for a female who had jumped to her death. I see he is now exhibiting traits of male morphology. Long dorsal fin and spiky anal fin. This is no good. I need to remove it from the tank and add a female.
In any case does this look to you like a bite or something else?
