I know we shouldn't look for pearling, but it looks great doesn't it....(just tight up to some mesh 2 days ago and dropped into the tank. It was growing emersed)
It does look good doesn't it.
Actually after a water change it is not uncommon to see manic 'pearling'. Most of it is not the plants giving off oxygen via photosynthesis but the new oxygenated water causing oxygen bubbles to stick to the leaves. This usually clears over a period of a few hours and then the true pearling can be seen.
Of course you don't need to see pearling to know your plants are photosynthesising.
