Hiya, I’m looking for some help and advice with my salt and pepper cory who’s having extreme swim bladder issues. She’s floating at the top of the tank unable to right herself.
The issues been caused by high ammonia. I had another fish die under one of the plants so I didn’t see it and it’s caused an ammonia spike.
I’ve done a 50% water change and treated the tank with a double dose of seachem prime.
I was considering adding some eSHa2000 to tank but didn’t want to over do it with meds and wanted to see if just clean water helped her first.
Has anyone got any advice on what I should do?
Thanks
Tank Specs:
100L tank (36”L x 12”D x 15”H)
Fluval U4 Filter
24 - 25C
50% weekly water change (seachem prime)
Stocking:
6 harlequin Rasboras
6 false julii corys
2 pepper corys
3 bronze corys
1 unknown cory
30+ something RCS
Water quality
Ammonia 0.50
NO3 40 (Tap water sits at 40ppm)
NO2 0
GH 8
KH 6
pH 7.2
CI2 0
