Should I turn off the controller while the lights are off or let it run 24 hours a day?

My thinking is, it probably doesn't mater.

Any insight is appreciated,

Mike

Thinking about it you could turn it on and off connected to the same timer the solenoid is on.
But it indeed doesn't matter to let it run 24/7 except for a little saving on the power bill.

I guess you turn on CO² before the lights come on, then if you connect the controller to the timer the lights are on then no power on the controller means no power on the solenoid and no CO².

That makes sense. I guess saving a bit of power is the better option. I run the controller on a electronic timer so it would be some extra redundancy too.

Thank you

I suppose it would depend on how much the Ph fluctuates overnight and how close you would need the range to run.
