Bored so did this today.

Tank is an old display tank from Bardills £10. Was used for bettas.
15x15x12 and holds just over 2.5litres.

Going to filled with moss species etc. And hydrocoytle species. And something climbing, but undecided as yet.

The filter will be usb water feature pump. 200lph. And using bio media and foam. And as usual over filtering for the size of it.

Lighting will be a usb laptop light from poundland.

Will see what it can grow.

Undecided about a hood for it.

Just baking some old sand and harvesting hardscape and plants. No rush with this, going to take my time. And build it slowly. As want to make Pico sized hardscape from Lava rock.

Its glued with hot glue. Used it for plenty of builds and is always easy to use.

So today I have created the Lava rock hardscape today and plants from Fil arrived so attached them aswell.
Happy with how the lava rock turned out. used a pestle and mortar ti grind up peices of lava rock to create different sizes of powder to glue over the joins, so they are less visible.
Light has not arrived yet, so will post some pix once it arrives.

Filled with aged water to test any weak points that I need to look out for. And have sat in on the widow ledge for now.

Made a Hood from scraps of the polycarbonate sheet. looks Ok and does the job

Filtration media arrived so will be adding this once pump arrives.
Also swapped out lighting for a usb table lamp I found on Ebay for under a fiver. Is very very bright.

Pump has not arrived, so just waiting on a new one, as Raised a dispute with OG seller.
Moss is growing well under the LED light I found. And happy that it can be charged, so that it does not have to be plugged in all the time.

Looking forward to seeing some pics

Pump arrived and just about fits inside the filter chamber. the 200LPH has created quite the water movement in the cube.
Added a couple of blue shrimp to this, just for grazing on the algae etc.
Will take some pix over the weekend.

Will be taking pix today at some point and update.
So far very little algae, And surpised as lights are on from 8am till 10pm.
The 200LPH pump send water flowing very nicely and happy with it.

A few pix.
Not trimmed anything since setup.
Want a wild look to it.
Pelia has started to make finer fronds now.
Just 3 chocolate shrimp in here.
Dont see them alot. As they spend their time in the fissidens wall grazing.

And lastly a sneaky pic of the mini complete tank. Not touched this for over 5 weeks. Just been doing a water change on it.
Houses snails, micro crabs and shrimp fry.

Very cool! Reminds me my old cunzo, is that hydrocotyle tripartita mini ?

Nope just standard, but kept it trimmed heavily. And it stays small now.
Going to add the Red Moss to this and see how is grows.

Also
I have forgotten what this plant is, its in all my tanks now. Dunno where it came from and how it has spread.
