Plant ID quiz

Not a clue, I can't even see anything similar to it in your journal.
I smell a rat, It's a garden plant isn't it?

It was in my cube tank and a bona fidae aquatic plant.

Definitely not an Echinodorus, think of another rhizomatous genus, lots of species, Asian...

So what is it then? I been lying awake at night worrying about it but unable to get on UKAPS to check it and when I do, there's no answer! It's like having the last page missing from the book!

My guess is Crypt. ciliata.

Sorry guys I'd forgotten about this! It is Crytocoryne lingua. I suppose you got that one Matt (not sure I'd allow that in my class though, but marks for ingenuity!!!) so your turn!

I know it is not my turn but here is one for the road :D

Looks like cabomba to me :S

hhhmmm.. similar, but I think not quite. I'm not ocnfident, but maybe one of the Limnophila species. ?

Utricularia? ot showing bladders of course. Can't remember the species that has nice whorls like that - is it U.vulgaris or U.macrorrhiza?

Yes this is a Utricularia specie :) well done!
In the order list it doesn't say which one exactly so you win.
