Can anybody tell me what this is please? . It has a thickish stem which you can't see in the photo and grows very quickly. The photo is of the top of the tank.

It's a hygrophila polysperma angustafolia needle leaf by the looks of it. Feel free to post cuttings if it's growing that bad ha ha

Thanks for the reply. By 'growing that bad' do you mean the state of it or speed of growth?

I have to prune this regularly. I could offer cuttings now my tank is a bit healthier (I did have an algae problem), up until the last few weeks I'd have been a bit embarrassed to.
Next time I trim I can offer them.
