Hi guys,

I've come with this list for my 10litre nano with DIY LED lighting (about 5 watts).

I've got Tetra Complete substrate and waiting on a CO2 kit.

Background:

  • Eleocharis Acicularis
    Lilaeopsis Brasilensis
    Cryptocoryne petchii

Foreground/Carpet:

  • Riccia fluitans
    Marsilea hirsuta
    Utricularia Graminifolia

Does anyone have experience with these or any suggestions?

cheers :)

Hi all,
Both Marsilea hirsuta andUtricularia graminifolia don't really enjoy life under water, so I think you may struggle with them. I've got both growing emersed in with some insectivorous plants, but I've never got them to grow under water. I don't use CO2 addition, so that may tilt things in your favour.

Riccia fluitans doesn't attach itself, and this means a lot of maintenance if you want to keep it at the bottom of the tank.

cheers Darrel

I had read that, however seen a few tanks that are doing well with them. Do you have any suggestions?
