Have just acquired a 20L arc nano with standard lighting and Ive put a heater in it and will be dosing TPN+ but no c02 or upgraded lighting.

Will be using it for shrimps, CRS hopefully and Cherries.

Any plants which are suited to fairly low tech set ups more than others?, also if I wanted to dose Excel would this affect the shrimps?

Excel/Easy carbo should be fine with shrimps, just keep up with the water changes as normal. Low light plants, you're talking mosses, crypts, anubias, microsorum etc :) Apparently P helferi will grow in low light, but I suspect it'd need CO2. I've not grown it before so I really don't know.

Shrimps will love mosses especially :)
