Plants not grow

Maybe this picture will help a little

It may sound a bit counter intuitive, but if it were my tank I think I'd be reducing the light intensity to around 80%, and duration to around 6hrs. This should give you a lot more wriggle room tackling fertz deficiencies, if there are any. I'd then make sure my CO2 is on point, 1 unit drop at lights on and all the way till lights off. And ensure that the flow and distribution are good throughout the tank. It'll help with your GSA as well.

I'd see how it goes for at least three weeks. Also, I'd be interested to see if taking the tops of some of the Ammania gracialis at the beginning of the change produced healthy side shoots thereafter.

I took already some tops and replanted them, too little side shoots for a week. Will wait a little bit more. Will try to dose 50% more macros+some extra Fe.
About flow it's 26x. Can't be more :).
Next thing will be to stop one of the bulb, if things not going better.

Just saw today that one of replanted ammania didn't build a single root for a week. Starting to think my levels of phosphate are to low. What you think?

A few thoughts and questions!

- you have an external filter, Eheim skim and a marine wavemaker. Too much flow damaging the plants?

- gaps between leaves are large which points towards low co2 combined with too much light.

- in-line co2?

- have you got a co2 drop checker? What colour is it at lights on?

- is the substrate just inert sand or is there a substrate underneath it?

- what temperature is your tank? Should be 22-23 degrees.

Personally I’d ignore nutrient deficiency for now.

S.

- not sure if they are damaged, but I can stop the wave makers;
- maybe, I asked first if this is co2 defeciency, problem is that with more my fishies are on surface;
- 2 inline with two canisters;
- almost yellow;
- dennerle crystal quartz + aquabasis plus;
- about 25 degrees without heater.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Ok, I cut off one of the bulbs to see, if something change.
Anyone to know, if 2x39 w t5 will be enough for red in plants?

So a little update, after lowering the light my plants looks better, but some lost their red color. Obviously my problem is balance between light and not enough co2.
Can someone help me how to up more the co2 whitout to gas the fish. In the moment I think I'm on the limit no matter 26x flow rate, eheim skimmer and monster bps (can't count it above 10 probably). And 1 ph drop seems not enough.

It's most probably lack of PO4

Can someone help me how to up more the co2
Personally I'd lower kH to approx 2-3 deg. If you won't be able to add more CO2, your plants may start to release the nitrogen in ammonia form and very likely you will have an outbreak of algae. To avoid it, lowering the dose of NO3 (which will decrease the hunger for CO2) may be an option.

What positive thing will be lowering of KH?
And if I decrease their hunger for co2, will it not lead to not so healthy plants?

So some new picture, if someone can help. Till now new growth of ammania looks good but older leaves not looking good. SR not grow good too.

By lowering kH your water will become more acidic at the same amount of CO2, this will help with the uptake of Fe which in effect help with the uptake of NO3.

I will double ei dose from today and will dose every day to see, if something change.
Hey Ivan, as other users mentioned (and I definitely agree with them) your plants are generally healthy and in my opinion you should avoid large changes in fertilising regime, you only need some fine tuning. Doubling the EI is a huge change for a tank with generally healthy plants. Imagine you're healthy person and double the food you eat daily - I believe effect may be very similar.

I understand, but trying to find, what is the real problem. If its not a defeciency next is co2 to light level. The problem is that I can't up co2 more.
Maybe my par is more than I think. Bulbs are two t5 x 39w giesemann super flora + tropic 10 cm above the surface and 60 cm from substrate. Rotola calculator give me par around 75.

look at ammania gracialis
There is yet another thing which came to my mind: whenever I see curled/twisted leaves or stems I look at the levels of Ca/K/Mg - these three ingredients (plus tiny bit of Chloride) are responsible for the pressure within the plants tissue so this may be the case as well - but you'll need to achieve correct levels experimentally. I personally keep approx 4:1 Ca:Mg and then fine tune K.

My water report is pretty old here, but last was 44:10 Ca:MG. I add extra Mg with my macro, probably around 10 per week. Maybe I must lower this, if 4:1 is best ratio. About K I add with macro around 30 per week.

Can't fix the problem, don't know what to do. Will try to change to pps-pro just to see if something improve.
Its some defeciency on old leaves but can't fix it.
I thought about potassium, upped the dosage and still no change.

Someone to know, if this build on leaves can be Organic waste?
In the moment I don't have so much fish and maybe I overfeed them.
