i know i am just newish to the planted tank scene but along time
ago in the mists of time we did used to have a go at keeping plants
alive we used to use the old type of root tab they were called rabbit dropping
we used to leave them to dry out in the sun and when properly dry we used
to push them in the substrate at the base of the plant or if you were putting
new plants in you used to put one and put the plant on top of it i am wondering
if i should give it a go again :wacky:

I remember that. You could even dry them in the oven if your wife or mum wasn't looking. :)

i am thinking about giving it a go again

But it's probably not a good idea to use cat litter substrate after the cat has used it for its intended purpose. :)

i agree lol and as for drying my rabbit dropping out i will not use the
oven other wise you will be visiting me in hospital in the fracture ward lol
