I've just dug out my co2 regulator and the plastic is missing from the front of one of the gauges.

Will this still be OK to use? I'm presuming the CO2 doesn't reach the front of the gauge hence will be totally fine, just wanted to check first.

thanks

The plastic is there to protect the needle and the disc displaying the readings. You will,of course, need to be extra careful when carrying it or stowing it away.
If you are handy you could make up a cover from a piece of thin clear plastic and glue it on .

Many thanks.

Been on the phone to Aquarium gardens today, very very helpful company, decided to buy a new reg from them as mines been sitting around collecting dust and obviously getting damaged. New tank so I treated myself to a new reg to go with it :)
